NYC Art Fairs 2010

Back from the art fairz...zzz. Things were a bit boring this year. Although craftsmanship has made a come back (finally), too much of the work on display was creatively bankrupt. Or old. I saw works from 2004 that were shown last year. Regardless of how well you can draw smutty boobs/penises/vaginas, you better have a good reason for doing so. Shock value is so 2008. I have pics to post and that will come later. And no, I did not take a pic of that awful black and silver penis sculpture at Volta. More soon. Thanks for reading.
